This morning I wanted to go formal. But not just any formal - morning dress. It’s rarely worn anymore, but I love the cut of the morning coat and the overall look. So I decided to put together an outfit and include steampunk elements into the theme. I started with the basics, a morning coat, vest and striped trousers. From there, I added the ascot and pocket square, a gear tie clasp I made, my alchemy gothic bracelet and the cane I picked up at Dragon*Con.
