Style with a gothic edge.

Today’s Style: Part 2 of the X-Men challenge from leahstuff, Anonymous and licensetocreep. Magneto.

  • Suit: Corporate Vampire by Lip Service
  • Vest: Express
  • Tie: Black Peace Now
  • Shirt: Takumi
  • Shoes: Kenneth Cole

Magneto is the iconic villain for the X-Men, so I was extremely happy when he was suggested as a theme. As soon as he was mentioned, I thought of my Corporate Vampire suit. He has often been associated with dark reds and purples so the wine color made perfect sense to me. I also liked the idea of lots of little touches of metal. Why wouldn’t he wear potential weapons? Keeping with the dapper style, I added a pocket watch that would look good and could be lethal in his hands.
